This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. The forces on this kite are gravity straight downwards, there is a force due to the wind and then there is a force due to the string. The force due to the string has to balance the vector sum of the force due to the wind and the force due to gravity. There, that’s all the forces. So b is the answer.
