This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. A lightning bolt has a current of 2.00 times 10 to the 4 amps and a voltage of 1.00 times 10 to the 2 megavolts. The prefix 'mega' means multiplied by 10 to the 6 and so we have 10 to the 2 times 10 to the 6 is 1.00 times 10 to the 8 volts. So we find the product of the current and the voltage and that gives us the power. So we multiply current by voltage and that gives us 2.00 times 10 to the 12 watts.
