This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. One of the hottest temperatures ever recorded on Earth was in Death Valley, California of 134 degrees Fahrenheit. We are going to convert that into degrees Celsius by subtracting 32 and then multiplying that difference by five nines. So, five over nine times 134 degrees Fahrenheit minus 32 which is 56.7 degrees Celsius. And then to express that temperature in Kelvin, we'll take the Celsius temperature and add 273.15 and this results in 330 Kelvin.
