This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. What is the capacitance of a large Van de Graaff generator's terminal, which is the point where you connect a wire, given that it stores 8.00 millicoulombs of charge with a voltage of 12.0 megavolts? And capacitance is charge divided by voltage so that's 8.00 times 10 to the minus 3 coulombs divided by 12.0 times 10 to the 6 volts which is 667 picofarads.
