This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. Angular magnification is the negative of the focal length of the objective lens divided by focal length of the eyepiece of the telescope. So, that's negative 100 centimeters divided by two and a half centimeters, which is negative 40. That's the angular magnification.
