This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. Period is the reciprocal of frequency, which means go one divided by the frequency. And so we're told that the frequency is 60 Hertz. So we have one divided by 60 Hertz gives us a period of 0.0167 seconds or 16.7 milliseconds.
