This is College Physics Answers with Shaun Dychko. The two brass horns on this Showy car emit frequency f 1 of 263.8 hertz and frequency 2 of 264.5 hertz and the question is what will the beat frequency of the combination of these two frequencies? So the beat frequency is the absolute value of the difference between the two frequencies. So it's the absolute value of 263.8 hertz minus 264.5 hertz which is a beat frequency of 0.700 hertz.
