Refund Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

This policy explains how refunds work at College Physics Answers (collegephysicsanswers.com, the “Service”). It is part of our Terms of Service. The short version: every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you’re not getting value for your money, contact us within 30 days of the charge for a full refund. This applies to every plan — monthly, semester (4-month), and annual — and you don’t need to give a detailed reason. Together with the 7-day free trial, this means you can try the Service completely risk-free.

A couple of things to know about how the guarantee works:

  • The refund ends your subscription — when we issue the refund, your subscription is cancelled and access ends immediately. A refund returns your money; it doesn’t also keep the remaining access.
  • One guaranteed refund per customer — the first refund is no-questions-asked. If you resubscribe afterwards, further refund requests are reviewed individually rather than granted automatically, so the guarantee can’t be used to subscribe and refund repeatedly. (Refunds for billing errors or technical issues, below, never count against this.)
  • 30 days runs from the charge date — each renewal charge starts its own 30-day window. Requests after the window are at our discretion; we try to be fair, particularly for issues raised promptly.

Cancellation (without a refund)

Cancelling is different from refunding. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page: cancellation stops all future renewal charges, and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you also want your money back for the current period and you’re within the 30-day window, request a refund instead.

Billing errors and technical issues

Separately from the guarantee, we always refund these — with no time limit tied to the 30-day window and no effect on your one-guaranteed-refund status:

  • Billing errors — you were charged the wrong amount, charged twice for the same period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation. We refund the erroneous charge in full.
  • Technical issues preventing access — a problem on our side (not your device, browser, or network) prevented you from using the Service for a meaningful portion of a billing period, and we could not resolve it promptly after you reported it. Depending on the outage, we will refund or credit the affected time.
  • Unauthorized charges — a charge you did not authorize, for example from a compromised account. Contact us before disputing the charge with your bank — we can usually resolve it faster, and a chargeback locks the account while the dispute is open.

How to request a refund

Email support@collegephysicsanswers.com from the email address on your account, with the date and amount of the charge. For billing errors or technical issues, include what went wrong, when it happened, and any error messages you saw.

Response time

We respond to every refund request within 10 business days with either a decision or a note on what we still need from you. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe, usually within 1 business day of approval; your bank may take a further 5–10 business days to post the funds.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer-protection law of your place of residence. Where such law grants you a broader right, that law prevails.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and recorded in the changelog below, and apply only to charges made after the change takes effect.
